WORK STREAMS

Metadata Best Practice Guide: AFEM & CI Metadata Best Practice Guide was created to provide a high-level, straightforward and understandable introduction to any artist, manager, producer or executive who is new to metadata, and a reminder to those already working with it. Understanding the importance of accurate, consistent and complete metadata is crucial to getting tracks discovered by fans and paid when performed, broadcast, streamed or sold.

DDEX Representation: AFEM is working with DDEX (a consortium of leading media companies, music licensing organisations, digital service providers and technical intermediaries, focused on the creation of digital supply chain standards) to ensure that the electronic music community – and our idiosyncrasies with metadata – are taken into account when standards are updated and created.
