Music research and analytics platform Viberate have just published their annual “State of Music” report, providing valuable insight for industry professionals backed by data collected from platforms, including Spotify and Beatport.
This year’s report identified that electronic acts were the most-booked performers at festivals worldwide with electronic music events accounting for a third of active music festivals in 2021. A large chunk of the report is also dedicated to Beatport, examining massive amounts of data to complement Beatport chart positions with insights into the popularity of artists, tracks, labels and genres.
