LinkedIn Live: The Cycle to Amsterdam Dance Event

AFEM is pleased to present a LinkedIn Live conversation about the ADE Cycle, the charity ride that takes participants from London to Amsterdam Dance Event in support of Bridges for Music.

This year, the ride takes on a new format. On 20 and 21 October 2026, riders will complete a two-day London to Amsterdam route, covering 230km over two stages and including an overnight ferry crossing before arriving in Amsterdam for a dedicated ADE welcome reception.

The event brings together three previous riders who know the experience first-hand:

• Valentino Barrioseta, Bridges for Music.

• Jess Miller, AlphaTheta.

• Amy Van-Baaren, Resident Advisor.

In the conversation, they will discuss what the 2026 route involves, why the ride matters, and what participants can expect along the way. It is a chance to hear more about the challenge itself, as well as the wider purpose behind it.

Funds raised through the ADE Cycle support the Bridges Academy in Langa, Cape Town, a creative school that gives underserved young creatives access to recording studios, DJ rooms and a programme combining music, entrepreneurship and mindfulness. The project reflects the role music can play beyond the dancefloor, opening up pathways for learning, creativity and long-term opportunity.

For AFEM, this conversation is about more than a ride. It is about highlighting projects that connect electronic music with education, access and social impact, and about supporting initiatives that create real opportunities for the next generation.
